RESCUED

RESCUED

YOU brought me from the depths of sin…when YOU took my hand…
YOU made a way for me to go… that I still can’t understand…
Why?, I’ve asked would YOU spend time… with one so full of sin?…
Why? would YOU spend time with “me”… to rescue me again?

I’ve turned away so often… I’m amazed that YOU would care…
Reminding me on each new day… of blessings I still share…
The many times I failed and stumbled… YOU helped me to my feet…
YOU were there to steady me… for challenges I’d meet…

There’s trials of life forthcoming… I feel we’ll all soon share…
I pray that YOU will bolster us… so we’ll all be aware…
Our faith in YOU is resolute… We “know” YOU’RE in control…
YOU strengthen us to stand our ground…whatever be our role…

Undeserving of YOUR mercy… I’m thankful for YOUR GRACE…
I appreciate your guidance through the trials that I may face…
I ponder my life daily… how blessed I am by YOU…
I know whatever trials arise… YOU will see me through…

I strive to show appreciation for my many gifts received…
It seems I started getting them… soon after I believed…
Energy has been renewed, enhanced endurance too…
No task too hard to tackle… I will see them through…

With these new found additives… my confidence increased…
Commencing projects once neglected…now fully released .
Thank You LORD for aiding me in all the things I am doing…
There are things I’ve not yet tried… but they are ensuing…

Knowing YOU are with me… bolsters my ambition…
I will strive to complete all and bring them to fruition…
