PERSISTENT PURSUIT

Whichever goals you set in life… strive… to see them through…
Let those content to go nowhere… go there… without you…
Avoid “procrastinators”… and those folks who criticize…
Have faith! and place your trust in GOD… HE alone is wise…

Keep in mind… when you begin… to start a life that’s ” new”…
The people who’re just passing time… will reveal their “view”
People who are satisfied… to be among the “crowd”…
Will disapprove of “your” behavior… and that its allowed…

Those who lack initiative… will caution you to “wait”…
Pay no mind to their advice… don’t even hesitate…
Lazy folks… sometimes hope… you will not succeed…
Don’t be swayed by “their” opinions… GOD is all you need

Eventually you’ll see your goal and know you’re getting near
Then jealousy and criticisms… you will surely hear…
Some folks out here…cannot bear the thought you may succeed
Skeptics or Doubters in your life… you really do not need…

Don’t listen to discouragements… or critics who can’t bear…
The thought that you may just “succeed” and obtain a share.
You’ll encounter many trials… but GOD can get you through it
HE’S given you the tools you need. assuring you can DO IT!

Disillusion and resentment…. when not sure what to do…
IF I’m feeling overwhelmed… my thoughts will turn to YOU
