LIGHTSHINE

Some of us have lost our “glow”… our lights are growing dimmer…
The trials of life have stifled us… and hopes wane to a glimmer…
When this occurs we have a choice… to fight… or face defeat…
Gather your resolve… stand firm… then “charge” just don’t retreat…

Matthew five, fourteen does state… to the world “we” are the “light”
JESUS said to “Let it Shine”… No matter what our plight…
Don’t hide it under bushels… place your light high on a stand…
By doing this… then all can see your blessings… by GOD’S hand…

Don’t wander in the darkness… as you make your way…
Let’s all take our LORD’S advice… Let our lights shine today…

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16
