REFLECTIONS
REFLECTIONS
Reflections are to give back an image
as of in a mirror.
The image can become more faded
with each passing year.
There are those too busy…
and the mirror they don’t consult.
Eventually the lives they lead
prove out their own result.
Usually we view our image
as we arise first thing each day.
Preparing for our daily lives
as we go about our way.
The mirrors are unforgiving…
they show each defect there.
They also tell us when we’re graying…
or maybe losing hair.
When dressed we start our day anew
whatever our vocation.
You may have to travel miles
to reach your jobs location.
Perhaps you never leave your house,
your work is in your home.
There’s many types of work we do
that don’t require we roam.
Some of us through years of toil…
our work becomes much harder.
We sometimes think we’d be successful
if only we were smarter.
Office job, clerk or laborer…
whatever you may do…
Remember that your “attitude”
will reflect on you.
The “attitude” you have on life
will undoubtedly reflect,
If you are living Godly lives,
by the choices you select.
When our lives are over
it won’t matter how you “look”.
GOD looks upon our “hearts”…
not the hairstyle that you took.
The day is fast approaching
when our LORD JESUS will return.
Reflect upon the life you live
and the salvation you can’t earn.
Pledge your life to JESUS
no matter what your years.
Your life and it’s reflections…
are more apparent than appears.

…ƒor [the LORD seeth] not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
1Samuel 16:7
The glory of young men [is] their strength: and the beauty of old men [is] the gray head.
Proverbs 20:29
Favour [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain: [but] a woman [that] feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
Proverbs 31:30
¶Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
And ye are Christ’s; and Christ [is] God’s.
1Corinthians 3:18-23
