In YOUR Hands
¶Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of [my] hands;
Isaiah 49:15-16
In YOUR Hands
Whatever trial beset me
I know YOU won’t forget me.
My life is held within YOUR nail scarred hand.
YOUR promises eternal
Daytime, or nocturnal…
In ways I’ve yet to try to understand.
YOUR ways so far above me
I “know” YOU really love me…
A feeling that permeates my soul.
YOU have seen my life
YOU’VE guided me through strife.
YOU alone have known my very role.
YOUR blessings while I live
Are YOUR’S alone to give.
I don’t deserve a solitary one.
I’ll strive to walk YOUR way
Each and every day…
Until my time on earth is finally done.
With my final breath on earth
I’ll proclaim your HOLY WORTH…
When… my life on earth… YOU gave is through.
YOUR redeeming power
Prevails in my last hour.
My eternity begins when I’m with YOU.
LORD JESUS… coming KING…
There’s nothing I could bring
To pay for sins I’ve done in my life’s span.
YOU have paid it all.
I’m waiting for your call…
Redemption for all men is YOUR OWN plan.
