The Jew

The Jew

GOD has given Israelites
the land it occupies.
In 1948 they conquered
to everyone’s surprise.

Finally they had their city
Jerusalem it’s name.
Victorious in battle
the Jews now laid their claim.

Since that time their enemies
have troubled their existence.
The Israelites have “held” their land
dogged in persistence.

Many Nations have disputed
their right to live in peace.
They attempt to overthrow
their efforts never cease.

Still the Jew has held their ground
determined to remain.
They hold title to this land…
GOD gave them their domain.

When first received their land was barren;
dry, where nothing grew.
With irrigation deserts bloomed
where once the hot winds blew.

Soon they were the leaders
shipping produce to the world.
They had only just begun,
their blessings were unfurled.

Envy of their enemies
soon caused tempers there to flair.
They were firing missiles
into Israel from the air.

Their enemies have stated
Israel has no right to this land.
They fail to realize the fact
GOD gave it by HIS hand.

Yet enemies still strive to slay them
always without pity.
They would seek to occupy…
Jerusalem … the City.

GOD has warned the foes of Israel;
all of them that hear.
They are the apple of HIS EYE…
a fact that they should fear.

They “are” HIS chosen people,
they’ve been set apart by GOD.
ALL the land belongs to Israel…
“Every Single Clod”!

Others lay unfounded claims
and say the land is “theirs”.
If they seek to capture it
they’ll start their own despairs.

The Jewish people are GOD’S favored.
HE loves them very much.
HE will deal with Israel’s enemies…
they will feel HIS touch.

Time will tell, it has been said,
The dye has long been cast .
We will see it very soon…
Just why the JEW will last.

GOD HIMSELF has covenant
with Israel long made.
Those who would resist our GOD,
their memory will fade.

¶For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp [that] burneth. –Isaiah 62:1

The land of Palestine was given to the Hebrew nation by inviolable grant by God. Throughout the Scriptures God’s covenant with Abraham is repeated, unconditionally giving the land of Canaan to him and to his seed FOREVER.

Palestine represents only 1% of the total area described to Abraham, extending from the Mediterranean Sea eastward to the Euphrates river. Each battle, each Israel victory and subsequent annexation of territory confirms God’s promise and brings to mind the proximity of the end times when the seed of Abraham will enjoy all the land unconditionally deeded to them by God.

Abraham had two sons, Ishmael, the progenitor of the Arab nations and Isaac, patriarch of the children of Israel. Both are the seed of Abraham and consequently both lay claim to the land. The strife we see today reverts back 4,000 years to the days of Abraham.

Ishmael, the son of Hagar, the Egyptian living in the tents of Abraham 13 years before Isaac was born, surplanted by the son of Sarah. God did not recognize the son of the handmaid for He declared that the covenant would be established with Isaac and his seed. Even before Isaac was born God’s word settled this matter. Abraham was told to cast out the bondslave and her son.

We see today the continuation of the rivalry emanating from the birth of Isaac, the child promised by God to Abraham and Sarah when they were passed the age of bearing children. Whereas the firstborn of a semitic culture could anticipate a double portion as heir. Isaac became recipient of the inheritance and successor to the promises of God.

Ishmael is representative of the ways of the flesh, indicative of man looking to his own devices and NOT to God.

Isaac, then is the spiritual child born not out of carnality, but out of promise and hope.
(note……remember how Sarah leaned on her own understanding about fearing the fact she would not have this child God said she would….so she helps God out by asking the bondslave to sleep with Abraham?
Man not trusting God and this is what you get….no peace)

Just as Isaac was persecuted by Ishmael, the Arabs have been dedicated to the annihilation of God’s chosen people who began to settle the land they held for centuries.

Then and now God’s word is not to be compromised, the covenant was established with Isaac and the enemies of Israel must go. Israel is the Lord’s garden and that which is planted by God cannot be uprooted by man. God’s Word gives very clear warning to the nations who divide Israel’s land. They will be destroyed by God’s own hand.

God warns that whosoever touches Israel touches the apple (pupil) of His eye. The pupil is one of the most delicate and sensitive parts of the body. A person will immediately move to defend the pupil from an object that comes near to it. This is the picture that God gives to His reaction of touching His covenant nation. There will be a reaction from God. As the United States has pressured Israel to give away land and interfered with Jerusalem… America has touched the “apple of God’s eye.”

Under God’s providential care the Hebrew nation has weathered the storms of the Pharoahs, the Hamans, the Mussolini’s and the Hitlers and destruction has been wrought in those nations which sought Israel’s demise.

Whereas the nation of Israel stands today as a testimony to God’s faithfulness. The empires of the enemy …. the Medo-Persian, Babylonian, Greek, Roman, and the third Reich have crumbled and fallen into dust of history. We glory in God’s fulfilled prophecy.

Jeremiah 31:10 Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

Jeremiah 31:11 For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

There can be no peace in Israel until the Prince of Peace, Israel’s Messiah returns to Mount Zion and tranquility will be restored.

Let us pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, and let us pour out our supplication for God’s chosen Jewish people so that they might come soon to the knowledge of the Good Shepherd who has tended the flock of God, and laid down His life for His sheep.

Israel was reborn on May 14, 1948. A full generation has passed. In June of 1967, the fig tree {Israel} blossomed, when the Jewish people recaptured their Holy City Jerusalem at the end of a six day war. A miracle! Why? Because Yaweh is on their side!

May we all repent of our sins and get our house in order. Maranatha! In the Name of Yeshua, Amen and Amen.

Note — God’s Word gives us instruction to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
