DON’T KID OURSELVES

DON’T KID OURSELVES

The sins performed … by you and me …
Won’t be judged by some degree …
Sinfulness will send you straight to hell …

GOD provided … HIS exemption …
Only through HIS SON’S redemption …
Trust HIS great ability… to quell …

In our mind’s eye … we make excuses …
We rationalize … our own abuses …
This way … our own sins… won’t seem that great …

We haven’t robbed or killed … our brother …
And we’ve been kind … to Dad and Mother …
Surely GOD has seen … our holy trait …

GOD won’t wink at sin … it’s true …
HIS righteousness will shine right through …
We will have to face … the facts for sure …

Don’t continue evil ways …
We are running out of days …
The pardon by LORD JESUS is the cure …

We must trust a Holy SAVIOUR …
For our errant sin behaviour …
Ask for HIS forgiveness… while you can …

GOD’S patience sometimes must wear thin …
When HE sees all the sins we’re in …
HIS SPIRIT will not always strive with man …
