Last Call

Last Call! Last Call! Drink up...
we can't serve another beer.
You don't have to go on home...
but you sure can't stay here.

Some will smile and go their ways
and have that one last sip.
But One day "Last Call" will be given
to announce a final trip.

You may want to consider well
what those words mean to you.
Someday there will be an end...
and your life here will be through.

The last call I refer you to
is not about your worldly drink.
It's about our GOD'S last call...
which is closer than you think.

One day GOD will call HIS own
to be with HIM forever.
You can't join HIS saintly throng
just by being clever.

There is one requirement
to be included when all's done.
You must accept LORD JESUS...
GOD'S one and only SON.

Come to HIM ... why do you wait??
Do you expect HIS call again??
GOD has said HIS SPIRIT
will not always strive with men.

There is no other SAVIOUR...
none other you can find.
GOD sacrificed HIS precious SON
to rescue all mankind.

GOD is urging all who'll hear...
to turn from their evil ways.
There's precious little time to waste...
these are the final days.

GOD'S "last call" will be quite different;
you'll hear a trumpets blast.
Then GOD will say "Come up Hither".
"THAT" call will be your last.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

¶Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

And shall begin to smite [his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and in an hour that he is not aware of,

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint [him] his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 24:44-51
